1977 Dallas Cowboys Championship Ring

Cowboys 1977 Championship Ring (NFL)

Super Bowl XII Logo

This ring features two 40-point diamonds set in two blue stars surrounded by a field of 22 diamonds. Around the ring's edge are the words "Dallas Cowboys World Champions." A diamond spaces the words, making the total diamond content two carats.

One shank of the heavy 28 pennyweight ring highlights the Lombardi Trophy over an outline of the Louisiana Superdome. The game score (27-10 over Denver) and Super Bowl XII logo appear under the trophy. The other shank features a Cowboys helmet, the individual player's name, and the player's jersey number centered in an outline of the state of Texas.

Completing the shank design are stars commemorating the Cowboys' past four Super Bowl appearances (games V,VI,X, and XII). The ring design was the work of Josten's.
